Based between East Lothian and Edinburgh, Scotland, I have been passionate about photography since I was first shown how to process black-and-white film around the age of 9.
My earliest project was documenting a family holiday in Somerset with a Kodak Brownie camera, I’ve rarely been without a camera since.
Through the years I’ve always been fascinated by black and white photography, as well as subjects such as sculpture, gothic architecture, dramatic skies and cinematic landscapes - especially around my favourite cities and the diverse East Lothian landscape where I live.
Current projects I'm working on include photobooks of atmospheric East Lothian locations and their strange histories, as well as documenting remains of wartime structures around the county.
In contrast to the above, I also photograph live music events and take headshots and portraits for authors, musicians and creatives for their portfolios. Those are mostly in colour.
